"From April 5th - 8th 2018 (vernissage on April 4th, accessible upon invitation), Art Paris Art Fair welcomes you to the Grand Palais in Paris to celebrate its 20th anniversary, with the participation of 140 galleries from some twenty different countries. Diversity and discovery are the key words of this leading event that combines a region-by-region exploration of European art from the post-war years to the present day and a cosmopolitan perspective on emerging scenes from around the world. For this anniversary year, the guest curator François Piron will bring his subjective, historical and critical perspective on a selection of specific projects focussing on artists in France who have managed to preserve their independence from dominant trends, or were situated on the margin of mainstream art history. The fair will also be sporting the colours of Switzerland, country guest of honour of this edition. Karine Tissot, the curator, will showcase the work of the young generation of Swiss artists."
